A PROUD HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE

CON-E-CO was founded in 1957 as Concrete Equipment Company to design and manufacture ready mix plants, meeting an increasing demand from
mixer-truck operators for convenient and accessible concrete batch plants.

CON-E-CO’s first plant, the Runabout, was loaded with aggregate with a front end loader with cement delivered via a screw conveyor. CON-E-CO began producing other concrete batch plant designs in the 1960’s and introduced many designs including the industry-leading Lo-Pro product line in 1975.

For over 50 years, CON-E-CO has been dedicated to operational excellence through design improvements that focus on innovation, quality, and performance. CON-E-CO offers concrete batch plants that can be configured to meet the demands of any application or industry.

In 2004, CON-E-CO was purchased by the Oshkosh Corporation, becoming a part of their Commercial Division. Oshkosh Corporation’s NYSE symbol is OSK. Our commitment to customer satisfaction hasn’t changed, and as we move forward in the 21stCentury, we continue to build products designed to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.

CON-E-CO is a member of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and Concrete Plant Manufacturers Bureau, actively participating in industry-related organizations and meeting established standards.

 

CON-E-CO HEADQUARTERS

The main office and primary manufacturing facility are located in Blair, Nebraska.  The facility has 89,000 square feet of manufacturing space and houses the Parts Depot. The second production facility is located in Audubon, Iowa and produces plant components such as batchers and bins, which are then sent to the Blair facility. 

 

PRODUCTS

CON-E-CO produces a complete line of transit and central mix concrete batch plants. These plants can be mobile or stationary, depending on your needs. Most Ready Mix Producers work from a permanent site, while Contractors prefer the flexibility of a mobile plant that can be set up on jobsites. Every plant is designed to meet the specific needs of the customer. Rarely will you find two plants with identical configurations.

Mixers

CON-E-CO manufactures two types of drum mixers.

  • Tilt Mixers - 12 or 15 cubic yard capacity
  • Horizontal Reversing Mixer (HRM) - 12 cubic yard capacity
